From Fear to Confidence: Conquering Cathedral Rock
Climbing Cathedral Rock in Sedona, AZ, was one of the most challenging experiences I’ve ever faced—not because of the climb itself, but the anxiety about the descent. Due to the recent rain, the rocks were wet, so the fear of slipping consumed my thoughts, and at one point, I even made a nervous call to my kids, just in case. But with Jim’s encouragement and the support of fellow climbers, I pushed forward.
Reaching the top felt incredible. I realized I had faced my fears and shifted my mindset from “I can’t” to “I can.” Maybe it was the energy of Sedona’s famous Vortex, or maybe it was the determination to keep going, but in that moment, I learned something powerful: The biggest obstacles are often the ones we build in our own minds.
This experience gave me a new level of confidence and reminded me that, by changing our mindset, we can achieve far more than we ever imagined.
